Taco Rio – St. Patrick’s Day River Dyeing

Celebrate the dyeing of the Chicago River with Tacorio on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at our Chicago Riverwalk location. This rain-or-shine, ticketed St. Patrick’s Day experience will have music, dancing, tacos, festive drinks, and a lively Riverwalk atmosphere—plus access to our heated patio for a comfortable celebration, no matter the weather. Doors open at 9am. Closing at 3:30pm.

For Tacorio:
The start time on your ticket is your arrival window. Please arrive during that time, not earlier. Once you’re on the Riverwalk, you’re welcome to stay as long as you’d like.
Multiple ticket types will be available (see below).

Includes one party shot and full access to our restaurant for the entire event.

• One food ticket (choice of Chicken Tacos, Hot Dog, or Vegan Hot Dog)

• One drink ticket (beer, wine, cocktails, seltzers, or non-alcoholic options)

Location & Entry Directions

We are located on the east end of the Chicago Riverwalk between LSD and Columbus Bridge. Entry to this event is through the Lakeshore East Community just north of Magey Daley Park. For driving directions to our entry gate, please GPS Drunken Bean Coffee Shop at 400 E South Water St.

After arriving at Drunken Bean:

  • Turn right at the stop sign just west of the coffee shop
  • Walk approximately 100 yards through lower wacker past the city impound lot.
  • Look for the black city fence marking the Riverwalk entry
