Sip Juice & Color is a lively and inspiring online Black history celebration where kids explore Black history heroes through interactive reading and coloring.

Who is the event suitable for?

Sip Juice & Color History is designed for children ages 7-11, but all are welcome to join the joyful celebration and learn Black history.  We tell the stories that are not often told, so we can almost guarantee that everyone learns something.

How do I reserve my child’s spot?

What materials will my child need for the event?

-Internet and device (computer, tablet, or smartphone)                                                                                              -Crayons and colored pencils                                                           -FREE illustration or Untold Stories Black history activity book

What happens during each online celebration?

Each session begins with discussion about that day's history hero, followed by engaging storytelling, vocabulary exercises, and art activities inspired by Black history.

How long is each session?

Each session of the online celebration lasts approximately 1 hour.

Will there be opportunities for interaction and questions?

Yes! We encourage active participation and questions from all participants during the sessions.  We are careful that answers are thoughtful and appropriate for children.

Is there a dress code for the celebration?

No, there is no dress code. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing.
