Free 6-week Prenatal Yoga Series

Join us in person for a free 6-week prenatal yoga series to connect with your body and your baby!

Come join this free prenatal yoga class provided by the City of Berkeley. First, second and third trimesters are all welcome! No prior Yoga experience needed! This will be a 6-week series, so please arrive on time and join us for the whole series.

Potential Physical Benefits:

  • reduces discomfort, decreases low back pain and swelling.
  • Improves flexibility and balance
  • Enhances circulation and blood flow to womb and extremities
  • Prepares for labor with breathing and relaxation techniques


Potential Mental & Emotional Benefits:

  • Reduces stress & anxiety: Calms the nervous system and lowers stress hormones
  • Improves sleep and helps insomnia
  • Boosts mood and fosters bonding with other participants


Potential Birth Benefits:

  • May shorten labor: studies suggest Yoga can lead to shorten labor times
  • Reduces pain


Class is limited to 8 people.

Please stay home if you’re feeling sick or ill.

About the teacher Angela Fisher:

Angi has been teaching in the Berkeley area for 10 years and has been a doula to two of her dear friends. She is prenatal vinyasa certified and teaches her classes through a body love and trauma informed lense. Doing what feels good in your body first, before doing more.
