HELD™
HELD™ is a one-day, in-person healing immersion designed for Black women who are tired of pushing through life on adrenaline.
HELD™ is a one-day, in-person healing experience for Black women who are tired of pushing through life on adrenaline.
If you are high-functioning but deeply tired…
If rest feels unfamiliar or unsafe…
If your body has been holding more than your mind can name…
HELD™ was created for you.
This experience centers nervous system regulation, gentle restoration, and collective care—without urgency, performance, or expectation.
You do not need to know how to rest.
You do not need prior experience.
You do not need to fix anything.
Rest is participation.
WHO HELD™ IS FOR
HELD™ is for Black women who:
- Feel chronically tired, overstimulated, or “on edge”
- Carry emotional and physical stress in their bodies
- Are high-achieving but internally depleted
- Keep going because stopping feels unsafe
- Want rest that actually restores—not escapes
No experience required.
Come as you are.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Session offerings may include:
- Sound Bath
- Guided Rest (Yoga Nidra)
- Yin Yoga
- Mindfulness & Breathwork
- Nervous System Education
- Somatic Stretch & Release
- Quiet Reflection & Journaling
- Closing Integration Ceremony
Throughout the day, attendees will also enjoy:
- Light refreshments and a nourishing lunch (provided)
- Access to a Black-owned, woman-owned wellness marketplace featuring thoughtfully curated products and services aligned with rest, healing, and care
All sessions are optional, gentle, and trauma-aware.
WHAT YOU’LL LEAVE WITH
You won’t leave “fixed.”
You’ll leave resourced.
Most attendees leave with:
- A felt sense of calm and safety in their body
- Simple tools to regulate stress in everyday life
- Language to understand what their body has been communicating
- Permission to rest without guilt
- A sense of belonging and being truly held
WHY HELD™ EXISTS
Black women are often expected to be strong without being supported.
HELD™ exists to interrupt that pattern—
to center regulation over productivity,
presence over performance,
and sustainability over burnout.
This is care that does not require collapse first.
