Florida Fathers and Faith Symposium

Rosen Plaza HotelOrlando, FL
Tuesday, June 2-Wednesday, June 3  •  8 AM-12 PM
Overview

The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is pleased to announce the inaugural Florida Fathers and Faith Symposium.

Through this symposium, we seek to elevate and highlight how fathers and faith communities can be powerful agents of prevention, early intervention and long-term support for youth and families. By fostering deeper collaboration between state agencies, community organizations and local faith institutions, we aim to create a family-centered approach that not only supports the youth we serve but strengthens the system surrounding them.

Summit highlights include plenary sessions, luncheon, educational workshops and exhibits.

Who Should Attend: Citizens, community organizations, fathers and father figures, juvenile justice, educational institutions, local governments, faith-based and social service groups.

Why YOU Should Attend: Learn from subject experts; network with peers from other programs; identify successful programs for all citizens; offers professional and personal development.

To Learn More: Email Ms. Dasia Powell at Dasia.Powell@fldjj.gov.
