Join SheJumps as we celebrate Get the Girls Out for a weekend at Stratton Mountain Resort!

Join SheJumps as we celebrate Get the Girls Out! – a nationwide campaign uniting women and girls to embrace the great outdoors while fostering a sense of adventure and camaraderie. Spurred by International Women's Day, this program is a call to action for participants of all ages to connect with nature, break down barriers, and celebrate their achievements and strengths throughout the month of March. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a newcomer, the Get the Girls Out! gatherings aim to foster a community where participants can thrive outdoors, inspire one another and younger generations, forge new connections, and rekindle friendships. Grab your friends, and get ready to make unforgettable memories!

All minors (under age 18) must be supervised by a parent or guardian for the full event.

Join SheJumps as we celebrate Get the Girls Out for a weekend at Stratton Mountain Resort!

SheJumps will be hitting the slopes for a 2-day Event at Stratton Mountain Resort!

Dates: Saturday March 7th and Sunday March 8th


Saturday: Are you a green queen or more into the cruisey blues? Our all-day downhill event will explore the wonderful beginner and intermediate terrain at Stratton! The day will be broken out into two sessions - morning and afternoon, with a lunch break in between. We will wrap up our day with a happy hour, which will include a raffle at the end! Participants should have prior experience with skiing, feel comfortable getting on and off the lift, and be comfortable skiing Vermont green terrain.

Sunday: will be a woman-powered adventure focused on uphill travel, ascending the blue square route. This route will ascend 2.36 miles, taking Lower Wanderer, Lower and Upper West Meadow, and Mike's Way up the mountain. We will stop for adequate breaks along the way. Participants should have the appropriate fitness to both ascend and descend from the top of the mountain. AT Touring Equipment is required to participate in this event, snowshoes are not allowed.


Cost: $10 Saturday, $10 Sunday Early registration gets you one free raffle ticket.

*Saturday Lift Tickets: We have partnered with Stratton to be able to offer lift tickets for a discounted rate.

*Sunday Uphill Travel Passes: Available for free at guest services. These must be obtained PRIOR to the start time.

Meals: Stratton’s classic alpine village provides a variety of dining opportunities for participants. Food and Beverages are not included in this event.

Accommodations: Stratton has graciously blocked out hotel rooms at a discounted rate for this event.

Rentals: Both downhill and AT rentals are available at a discounted price, subject to availability. Rentals can be picked up the night prior to the event.

8:30am - Check-in (Baselodge)

9:30am to Noon - Morning Ski

Noon to 1:00pm - Lunch (provided on your own)

1:30pm to 3:30pm - Afternoon ski

3:30 to 6:00pm - Apres (with Raffle!)

Sunday:

8:30am - Check-in (Baselodge)

9:00am - Begin Uphill Travel

Noon - End of Event


FAQ's & Other Event Information

Parking and getting to the event: Please note that all general parking lots at Stratton are FREE.

Lot 1

After garage parking is full, we will direct you to Lot 1.

Lot 1 is just beyond the parking garage on your left.

Please pull into the lot and follow signage or the parking attendant’s direction.

Regular Winter Shuttle operating hours are approximately 6am to 5pm. Shuttles are available after this time but less frequently. We suggest moving your car back to the main lot before 5pm, when possible.

Lot 2

Lot 2 will be on your left about one-tenth of a mile past Lot 1.

Shuttles pick up and drop off near the entrance to Lot 2. They travel between Lot 2 and Skier Drop Off, located in the main parking lot.

Regular Winter Shuttle operating hours are approximately 6am to 5pm. Shuttles are available after this time but less frequently. We suggest moving your car back to the main lot before 5pm, when possible.

Technical Equipment for this event: Skis, boots, poles, helmets, and technical waterproof clothes. For Sunday, AT Touring set ups are required.

  • Cancellations made within 3-6 days in advance of the event date will receive a 50% refund. Optional donations made during registration will not be refunded.
  • No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of the event, as this does not give us adequate time to fill the spot.
