Featuring Giggs, Junglepussy, 454, Anysia Kym, dj blackpower
Curated by the prolific New York rapper and producer MIKE in collaboration with Dweller, World Dweller brings together five independent artists across the hip-hop landscape—from South London to the Bronx—bringing in corners of rap culture to the Main Hall stage. On Friday. February 21, they invite the pioneering London rapper Giggs, the razor-sharp charisma of Brooklyn rapper Junglepussy, Florida-born rapper 454, drummer and producer Anysia Kym, and beat-driven experimentation from dj blackpower to Pioneer Works. The event is an extension of MIKE's Young World, the free to attend festival he hosts annually in Bed Stuy's Herbert Von King Park. The World Dweller lineup finds the middle ground between Dweller and Young World's respective artistic communities.
About the artists
Giggs, born and raised in Peckham, South London, is one of the most respected voices in UK rap. Known for his unmistakable deep tone and raw, street-focused lyrics, he gained a cult following with tracks like "Talking the Hardest." His sound captures the reality of life in London’s inner city, and his influence stretches far beyond the UK. Giggs’ collaborations with artists like Drake have only added to his legendary status, making him a heavyweight in the global rap scene.
Junglepussy (born Shayna McHayle), is an unapologetically bold and fiercely original multi-hyphenate artist who has been pushing the boundaries of hip-hop since she first burst onto the scene. Known for her razor- sharp lyricism, unapologetic confidence, and genre-defying sound, she blends social commentary with humor, empowerment, and raw authenticity.
The Brooklyn (with roots in Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago) native’s music isn’t just about beats and bars—it’s about empowering her listeners to embrace their identity and walk with confidence in their own skin. Her unfiltered style touches on everything from self-love to sexuality, gender politics, and mental health, all while delivering bangers that make you want to move. She’s graced stages from the US to Europe, with her electric performances turning every concert into an unforgettable experience.
454 grew up in Orlando surrounded by music, from making beats for his sister Pig the Gemini to video game soundtracks. Since his debut project 4 REAL, 454 has toured the US with Denzel Curry and MIKE, collaborated with Aminé and Toro y Moi, performed at Coachella, and sold out shows in London, Paris, and Tokyo.
Anysia Kym is a Bronx-born, Brooklyn-based music producer, drummer, and songwriter. She has established a distinctive sound within NYC’s alternative hip hop scene, incorporating the SP-404, SP-555, drum set, and electric guitar in her recorded music and performance.
dj blackpower is the producer and DJ alias of NYC based rapper MIKE. Since 2018, MIKE has largely self-produced his albums as dj blackpower, and as a DJ has performed everywhere from Coachella, warehouse raves, gallery openings, and traditional venues across the globe. dj blackpower has released 3 full length solo projects: blp2020: "king of the night", blp2021: "for ur own good", and Dr. Grabba.
