在人工智能迅速发展的今天，机器已经能够写作、翻译、对话，甚至在某些任务上超越人类。那么，一个看似简单却始终悬而未决的问题再次浮现：机器真的“理解”了吗？ 约四十年前，哲学家约翰·塞尔提出了著名的“中文屋”思想实验。他设想：一个完全不懂中文的人，被关在一间屋子里，只依照规则操作符号，却能对外给出看似“正确”的中文回答。问题在于——这个人，或者这间“屋子”，真的理解中文吗？“中文屋”不仅挑战了“智能等于符号操作”的观点，也引发了关于理解、意识、心灵与计算的持续争论。支持者认为，它揭示了强人工智能的根本缺陷；反对者则指出，理解并不必然存在于个体，而可能涌现于系统整体。随着深度学习、大语言模型等技术的出现，这一讨论变得愈发紧迫而现实。本次讨论会将以“中文屋”为切入点，回顾其哲学背景与核心论证，并结合当代人工智能的发展，邀请参与者共同思考：<ul><li>什么是“理解”？</li><li>语言理解是否必须依赖意识与主观体验？</li><li>当机器的行为越来越像人类，我们该如何重新界定“智能”？</li></ul>无论你来自哲学、人工智能、语言学，还是只是对这些问题充满好奇，这都将是一场值得参与的思想对话。欢迎走进“中文屋”，一起思考智能的边界。 活动细节时间：01/31/2026，周六下午2:30-4:30地点：Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library.
