The Hutchinson River Restoration Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the long-term protection and restoration of the Hutchinson River. We are committed to working with local communities, politicians, and other environmental organizations to ensure that the river is restored to a healthy habitat.Our mission is to restore and enhance the health of the Hutchinson River for current and future generations. We strive to reduce pollution, improve the river's water quality, and protect its wildlife and habitats. :<h3>Event Overview</h3>Join us for the Erskine Place Cleanup as we focus on removing trash that has accumulated along the shoreline and roadside. This area is an important access point to the river, but debris and litter often collect here after storms and heavy use.With your help, we can restore the shoreline, improve the landscape, and help protect wildlife that depend on this habitat. Bring your friends, family, or coworkers and spend a few hours making a real difference for the community.Together we can help keep this area clean, healthy, and welcoming for everyone who enjoys the riverfront.<h3>Late arrivals are welcome.</h3> <h3>What We Provide</h3>HRRP will provide water, snacks, sunscreen, and bug spray. Boots are available upon request—please email <a href="" title="" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">melissasw@hutchinsonriver.org</a> in advance if you need a pair.<h3>What to Wear</h3>Please wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. A hat is recommended to help minimize sun exposure.<h3>Location &amp; Transportation</h3>For the exact location, please use the provided <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/DZEsaL3SgFe8owb99" title="https://maps.app.goo.gl/DZEsaL3SgFe8owb99" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">link</a> and reference the photo for additional directions. The site is easily accessible via the BX23 or BX29 buses, by bicycle, or by car. Limited street parking is available.<h3>Tickets &amp; Waiver</h3>Please double-check the number of tickets in your order before checkout—each participant must have their own ticket so we can maintain an accurate headcount. Purchasing a ticket indicates agreement with the waiver, and all attendees must complete the <a href="https://bit.ly/HRRPWaiver" title="https://bit.ly/HRRPWaiver" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">waiver</a> prior to the event.

We will be meeting and cleaning in the area that has been highlighted in red.
