Half Day Art Camp – Art and Identity: Express Yourself with Janell Smalls

The North Charleston Cultural Arts Department was created by City Council in 1979 to plan for and support the arts and cultural activities throughout the community. Park Circle Community Building

This camp encourages self-expression through art, helping students ages 11-13 explore identity, emotions, and personal narratives. Art projects we will be creating such as: Identity symbol design, Mixed-media self-portrait, and affirmation art. Students should plan to bring an old t-shirt that can be used as a smock and a nut-free snack.June 8-12, 2026, 1-4pm
