Prepared Breastfeeding-In-Person
Our breastfeeding class is an in-depth introduction that includes benefits of breastfeeding for mom and baby.
In this class you will learn about milk production, feeding cues, latching techniques, milk storage and problem-solving tips for successful breastfeeding. This class is taught by a Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
This class is in-person and will be held in the Tower 2 classroom at Spartanburg Medical Center. Take elevator A to the 2nd floor and make a left and the classroom is on your left.
If you are experiencing financial hardship and do not participate in Medicaid, please call 864-560-BABY (2229) to discuss additional options.
There is also a virtual option of this class offered that covers the same information. If you are interested, please review our other events.
