Join us for a roundtable discussion on violence against women in the human rights system.

Join us for a conversation on accountability for domestic violence in the human rights system featuring survivor Jessica Lenahan, whose three daughters were abducted by her estranged husband and killed after the Colorado police refused to enforce a restraining order against him.&nbsp; We will be joined by lawyer, professor, and former policymaker Caroline (“Carrie”) Bettinger-López, former White House Advisor on Violence Against Women. Carrie represented Jessica in her landmark case before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, Jessica Lenahan (Gonzales) vs. United States, which advanced women’s human rights in the region and globally.
