What is the environment like?

This is an outdoor space so please dress for the weather.  The ground is uneven and there are wood chips/mulch.  We will have cushions to sit around the fire.  There are steps that are deep and there are no handrails. Do not use if you are not steady.

Why are you offering events for free?

We believe when people feel safe and supported, they will naturally practice kindness, feel better, increase their motivation and focus and have a reduction in anxiety, stress and depression.  Building community is primary for a safe and healthy world.

How can I give back?

We are a community and it takes a community to make these events happen.  Please consider volunteering and supporting the garden space.  We take donations through  Venmo : @Water-Shepherd and Patreon:  www.patreon.com/user?u=84702179.  Cash donations accepted.

What are the expectations for guests?

Accepted Answer

If you bring children, you MUST have them with you at all times. Please leave your animals at home. This is a sober space that is also smoke free and meat free (vegetarian only for food sharing events).  Vaping is allowed away from gathering space.
