Charlotte Malin Collins and Sophie Lippert will present a program featuring all women composers. Violinist/violist/vocalist Charlotte Malin Collins and pianist Sophie Lippert are the co-creators of Connections Concerts, a classical-and-beyond series focused on the reciprocity between the concertgoers and performers. Dynamic programming, courageous interpretations, intimate stage presence, and prompts for participation, conversation, and self-reflection work together to create a unique concert experience. This program will include works by Clara Schumann (3 Romances for violin & piano), Rebecca Clarke (Sonata for Viola and Piano), Nadia Boulanger (2 Pieces for Violin & Piano), Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou (solo piano work TBD), and Augusta Read Thomas (Incantation for Solo Viola).
The concert is presented by Bing Productions in collaboration with Trinity United Methodist Church and is sponsored by Florence Bank.
