Join us for tango classes with Luz Castineiras in February! Luz is a highly experienced tango teacher who teaches fun, active classes. In the intermediate class, she focuses on dancing to vals!Wednesdays, February 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th 8:00-8:30 pm: practica 8:30-9:30 pm: vals class (intermediate) 9:30-10:00 pm: practicaThe beginner class is open to all levels. We also hold an intermediate-level class at 8:30 pm on the same dates.These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people.No partner necessary; the teacher encourages people to switch partners throughout the class.We encourage everyone to sign up for all four classes, but drop-ins are also welcome.The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions!Beginners may stay and watch the intermediate class. Intermediates may arrive at 8:00 to practice together with the beginners.$80 general admission (four classes in February, beg. or int.) $25 general admission (single class, beg. or int.) $15 student with ID (single class, beg. or int.)
