Get ready to dive into the world of altered books and create unique layered collage artworks in this hands-on workshop!

Altering books to create art journals and using them to explore new ways to stretch and grow an art practice, is one of Sandra Thomas’ favorite things to do. This class is for anyone who is interested in recycling old books into new art. In this class we will explore painting, collage, drawing, cutting, and reworking old books to create something new and unexpected. Supplies will be provided but if anyone has things from home they would like to use or share they are welcome to do so. Let’s make a mess and have some fun!
