Please join your neighbors as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America's Declaration of Independence.

The McIvers Grant Public Library will be hosting a quarterly lecture series to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As part of this year-long celebration, a group of civic-minded citizens and community partners have partnered to offer four sessions discussing the American Revolution, presented by Dr Matthew Stafford.

"The Road to War, 1763-1775." This presentation will look at the deteriorating relationship between England and her American colonies beginning in the immediate aftermath of the French-Indian War and culminating with actions at Lexington and Concord.
