International Club of DC Inc. is Washington’s premiere organization for internationally-minded professionals who enjoy international cultural experiences. In partnership with embassies, along with museums and other cultural organizations, we present a variety of private cultural and networking events for our membership in the DC area. Our events are presented with the goal of helping members share cultural experiences and meet likeminded individuals. Celebrate Halloween with an Embassy Row Rooftop Dance Soiree under the stars featuring TWO live bands performing both swing and salsa music. The evening begins with swing and salsa dance lessons followed by a haunted battle of the bands as a swing and salsa band takes the stage to perform music for an unforgettable Halloween Soiree under the stars with spectacular views of the Washington DC skyline as a backdrop.Our previous rooftop soirees sold out, so please reserve your tickets now, as space is limited. The event is outdoors on the rooftop so please DRESS WARM!You are cordially invited to the Ven at Embassy Row, Washington DC’s premiere boutique hotel in the heart of Dupont Circle, for an unforgettable experience of networking and socializing as we present to you a dance soiree under the stars with dancing to live music with the Washington skyline as a spectacular backdrop.As you meet other guests, enjoy Mojitos (while supplies last!), wine, cocktails, along with champagne available for purchase while you take in the rooftop’s relaxed ambiance. Join us at 6:30 PM to relax and meet other guests as we show you how to dance both swing and salsa or join us after 7:30 PM to dance to both a swing band and a salsa band under the stars. After the sunset, experience an evening of music and dancing to two live bands playing sounds of Havana along with swing dance music. If you sign up for the dance lessons, please make sure that you arrive by 6:40 PM as the lessons will conclude around 7:30 in time for dancing to live music.Free Parking with the purchase of Entrée at Fred and StillaSavor a world of flavors at the restaurant inside The Ven at Embassy Row, where globally inspired comfort foods bring the spirit of diplomacy to your plate. Rain Date PolicyIn the event of rain/inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled or moved indoors at our sole discretion. No refunds will be offered for weather related event postponement but the reservation can be transferred towards a future event by emailing us. Due to the unpredictable nature of the weather, a rain date policy decision for outdoor events may be made before or during an event. By purchasing a ticket you agree that no refunds will be offered if the event is rescheduled or moved indoors.All ticket sales are final. No Refunds. Purchase of tickets constitutes your acceptance that In the event of inclement weather, you will receive an event credit towards attending a future event. If the event is postponed due to weather or other situation beyond our control, you can transfer your reservation towards attending any future similar event organized by the International Club of DC. No refunds will be offered due to a weather related event postponement but the amount paid can be applied towards any future event organized by us. Requested AttireCocktail attire requested. If you are new to our organization or Washington DC this is a great opportunity to meet other like minded professionals in a friendly and relaxed setting.Kindly note by purchasing a ticket, you accept responsibility to arrive for the event on time. Due to expenses incurred, we are unable to offer refunds if you are unable to attend the event for any reason. Purchase of tickets for the event constitutes your acceptance of our no-refund policy.
