YLS members will meet virtually to assist with Strobel nomination vetting.

One of the highlights of our year at United Way is the annual <a href="https://handson.unitedwaygreaternashville.org/strobel2026" title="https://handson.unitedwaygreaternashville.org/strobel2026" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards</a>. The Strobel Awards are Middle Tennessee’s largest celebration of volunteerism named after Mary Catherine Strobel, a community volunteer best remembered for her tireless, joyful commitment to those in need.Each year, we receive anywhere from 100 to 150 nominations, and we need your help.Join us virtually to read the amazing stories of the Strobel Award nominees, call them to verify their information, and make sure that they are in the correct award category. This is a great way to get to know everyday volunteers in our community and find ways you can get involved!UWGN staff will remain on the virtual call throughout the session to provide instructions, support and answer any questions that may come up.Thank you in advance for your time and assistance—we truly appreciate your help with this process.
