A little of this and little of that. We’ll cover all of the bakery essentials from breakfast staples and the sweetest desserts.
WEEK 1: June 15 - 19. BAKESHOP BASICS
$595
9am - 3:30pm (before and aftercare available 8am - 5:30pm)
Friday JULY 3 camp will end at 12
Farm-fresh produce meet hands-on baking fun! In Farm to Oven, campers explore the flavors and versatility of fresh fruits and vegetables while learning how to transform them into delicious baked treats. Each day, we highlight two seasonal ingredients—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—each inspiring its own unique baking project.
Campers will start each morning discovering a featured ingredient—carrots, apples, strawberries, lemons, bananas, or other citrus—learning about its flavor, texture, and how it behaves in baking. They’ll then put that knowledge into practice, creating baked goods such as scones, muffins, quick breads, cakes, cinnamon rolls, tarts, or galettes that showcase the morning’s produce.
Afternoons explore a second ingredient, giving campers the chance to experiment with new flavors, textures, and recipes. This approach encourages creativity and confidence in the kitchen while showing how fresh produce can elevate a wide variety of desserts. Note: this class will be entirely baking. We will not do any decorating.
By the end of the week, campers will leave with a portfolio of fresh-baked creations using a wide range of farm-fresh ingredients, along with a deeper appreciation for how fruits and vegetables can inspire fun, flavorful, and creative desserts.
