April Grand Prix Chess Tournament

A monthly high-octane chess showdown where masters collide, pawns rise, and victory awaits!

This is a month long rated event; one game played select Wednesday evenings starting at 7:00PM. Late registrants will be paired with other late registrants for their first round.

Round times:
• 5 Rounds
• Rounds start at 7:00pm

Time controls:
• All Rounds G/60;d5

Sections:
If there is more than 30 players in a 4 round month, there will be 2 sections. In months with 5 rounds, all players will be placed in one section.

Prizes:
Monthly tournaments will award 1st place trophies. At the end of the year, we'll celebrate with 1st through 5th place trophies and gift cards for our top players.

Grand Prix:
Grand Prix points only designed for this tournament will be earned each month starting in January 2025 through December 2025 with prizes for the top 5 players as well as the top 2 players with the most USCF rating increase during the grand prix period. If a player is provisionally rated, rating increase is counted from when that player leaves provisional status.
