Does my ticket include admission to the mural exhibit?

Accepted Answer

All tickets include access to all three levels to view the mural, but the experience will not include tours, audio guides, video presentations, or placards. We recommend you return to AMP during exhibit hours for the full mural experience. Visit americanmuralproject.org/visit for details.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Yes, all facilities and levels are wheelchair accessible. There are also accessible spaces in the parking lot. Call for details. We are happy to assist you.

Can children attend?

This event includes amplified music and the sale of alcohol. It is not recommended for children. Check out the family friendly events on AMP's website: americanmuralproject.org

Yes. You will receive parking details when you purchase your tickets.

What is served at the cash/credit bar?

Craft and domestic beer, wine, cider, select cocktails, and nonalcoholic beer, soda, and water. There are also a couple of packaged snacks.

The bar offers limited packaged snacks, but Winsted and the surrounding area offer a range of restaurants.

Are there accommodations nearby to stay overnight?

Yes. The historic Old Riverton Inn (rivertoninn.com) is a landmark hotel nestled along the banks of the Farmington River.  The Manor House Inn (manorhouse-norfolk.com) is an official Green Hotel, set on five acres in Connecticut’s breathtaking Litchfield Hills. They're both great options nearby.
