Plimoth Patuxet Museums

<p>Join Hunt's Photo for a photo walk at the historic Plimoth Plantation. During the walk, we will discuss subject development, image composition, black and white, and architectural photography. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.</p><p>Founded more than 65 years ago, Plimoth Plantation is a living history museum that depicts the life and culture of America’s first settlers in the 17th century. The settlement is complete with houses, gardens, animals, and pilgrims that live and speak just as if it was 1627. The grounds, homes, and settlers make for wonderful studies in light, architecture, detail, and portraiture. Also on the property is a full Native American settlement as well. The Wampanoag’s were native to Plymouth before the arrival of our first settlers and the story of their lives, and how it interweaves, with the Pilgrims is on display as well. Plimoth Plantation is a vital look into the lives of our ancestors and the growth of America.</p>
