Denver -  April 5th - Easter Sunrise Service 2026

The purpose of the Association is to promote the Grand Commandery of Colorado through the activities of the Colorado Knights Templar Association.  It is to provide planning assistance to the Colorado Commanderies in the three following programs, Christmas, Easter and Ascension Day observances.  The Association also promotes the Knights Templar Association Banner Program, for recognizing outstanding Commanderies through the use of the Sir Knight Jess W. Gern award program. And lastly, the Association is a proud sponsor of the Grand Commander's Traveling Sword Program, which emphasizes visitations by Commanderies.  This program promotes inter-Commandery communication, cooperation, and fellowship amongst the Templar Knights. The Traveling Sword is an exact reproduction of the swords carried by the Knights Templar in the 12th Century made in Toledo Spain.  Its blade is of tempered steel embossed with 24-karet gold.  The medallions inset and toped with a Templar's Cross.

Denver Consistory

5:30a.m. - Doors open.6:00 a.m. - Pre-worship service music begins.6:30 a.m. - Worship service begins.7:45 a.m. - (approximately) - Worship service ends.General admission - Easter Service is FREE! You are encouraged to arrive no later than 6:00 am to provide time for parking and arriving into the Denver Scottish Rite Masonic Consistory.On April 5th, 2026, the Knights Templar's Association of Colorado will host it's 101st consecutive presentation of Easter Sunrise Service in the beautiful Masonic Denver Consistory. This beautiful historic facility, with its 500 seat auditorium and breakfast dining room area, is truly a unique Worship experience that draws people from all across Colorado.After the Worship service, come and enjoy a hot breakfast in the Consistory's dining room. Tickets are recommended for purchase online early. A limited number of tickets may be purchased in the dining room until sold out.Parking is FREE in the PERA lot behind the Denver Consistory. You may not park in spaces 1-9 or 41-42. PAID parking is available in the garage. Pay using your smartphone by scanning the QR code outside the garage door. Limited street parking can be available and the City meters are free on Sunday.As a side note, the Knights Templars of Colorado also relies on donations collected the morning of the service to help fund the service. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Knights Templar's Association of Colorado which will be earmarked for the Easter Sunrise Service.
