Join the Texas Exes San Antonio Chapter for a service project at the San Antonio Zoo

Join the Texas Exes San Antonio Chapter for a meaningful day of service at the San Antonio Zoo as part of Project Worldwide 2026! This hands-on volunteer opportunity allows Longhorns and their families to give back while supporting one of San Antonio’s most beloved conservation and education institutions.

When: Saturday, February 28, 2026

Where: San Antonio Zoo 

3903 N St Mary’s St.

San Antonio, TX

Two (2) Volunteer Shifts 

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM 

Please select your preferred shift when registering.

We will take a group photo at 11:00 AM between shifts.

Children & Age Guidelines:

Children ages 5 and up are welcome to participate with supervision.

Service Activity:

While activities may vary depending on the weather, our group will assist with animal enrichment and tidying up work and storage areas for the Education Department.

Attire:

• Dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather. 
• Closed-toe shoes are required.
• This is a great opportunity to show your Longhorn pride—Texas gear encouraged!

Water Bottles:

Volunteers are encouraged to bring a personal reusable water bottle.

Service Waiver:

All volunteers must sign waivers for both the San Antonio Zoo and Texas Exes upon arrival before beginning the service project.
