Dancing, Dharma…and Dogs follows the life of Jeremy, as he evolves from a fear-bound child to a free soul amidst the universe. His discovery that by listening and carefully observing the world, a human becomes aware there is more to our existence than “what meets the eye”. Through the friendship and guidance of mystical beings, Jeremy discovers a life of joy, wonder, magic... and dogs!
Dancing, Dharma …and Dogs is Brian Putnam’s first novel. A lifelong resident of the PNW, Brian earned his BA and MA in Theatre Arts from Western Washington University in 1982 and ‘85. After a career in education that included many years as a high school Theatre Arts director, Brian moved back to Bellingham where he began writing fiction again. Brian currently lives in Bellingham with his wife, Robyn, and dogs, Toula and Finn, while spending as much time as they can on magical Vancouver Island.
