The program also discusses how lifestyle choices relate to cardiometabolic conditions like heart disease, obesity, and diabetes. From a neurobiological perspective, it covers how mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and burnout, along with neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s, memory loss, and dementia, can often be prevented or managed through interventions beyond medication. It highlights how nature can act as medicine and how a nature-based prescription can transform your life.Dr. Muntasser is a board-certified psychiatrist, lifestyle medicine specialist, and health and wellness coach with a strong passion for the environment.
