What is Quartermania?

Quartermania is a fun and fast-paced auction-style game where you can win great prizes for just quarters!

Here’s how it works:

• Local Galena businesses have generously donated items and gift certificates worth at least $15 - some even valued up to $50 or more!
  
• To join in, you pay a $20 entrance fee. This includes your admission, a bidding paddle, and snacks at your table.
  
• During the game, items will be announced one at a time. The auctioneer will tell you how much it costs to bid - usually just 25 cents (one quarter).
  
• If you want to try to win that item, you drop the required number of quarters into the bucket at your table and raise your paddle.
  
• The auctioneer then pulls a number at random. If your paddle number is called, and you placed a bid,you win the prize!
  
• Everyone's number goes back into the drawing after each round, so you always have a chance to win as long as you bid.
  

Don’t forget:
Bring plenty of quarters to play! A limited number of quarters will also be available for purchase at the event.
