The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. A&H is a group of sophisticated attractions that includes a contemporary art museum, 3 interactive history museums, and a stunning campus recognized as Central Florida's only National Historic Landmark. A&H also features a community art school nestled among its beautiful gardens and unique architecture.Founded in 1937 as an artists’ retreat, our space still fulfills this mission today with multiple artist residencies serving both local and international artists. A&H provides the Central Florida community with many  activities every month, including free family programming, affordable site tours, and free presentations on art and history from visiting experts. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, impress someone special with a sophisticated date night, or just a way to relax with friends—A&H has you covered! Check out this selection of upcoming events.

At the Art &amp; History Museums of Maitland, kids can stay creative and artistically engaged all summer long on our beautiful and historic campus, just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando! During these FREE hands-on art workshops, families can drop-in and create a new art project every week at their own pace.On June 3, we’re kicking off six weeks of summer fun by celebrating friendship! You’re invited to join us as we create “new friends” from 3-dimensional sculpture materials – think wooden blocks, fabrics, beads, pipe cleaners, yarn and so much more! Families can also visit our "Plein Air" (Outdoor) Playspace with new surprise art stations set up each week!
