Chocolate Milk & Cookies-Georgia
Chocolate Milk & Cookies is a family-friendly in-person event on breastfeeding and infant feeding—support, resources, vendors, and community
Chocolate Milk & Cookies (CMC) is NBDA®’s signature, family-friendly in-person Mix & Mingle designed as a larger, community-centered gathering focused on lactation, breastfeeding, and infant feeding in Black communities.
CMC is intentionally built as an accessible space where parents, babies, doulas, and community partners can come together to learn, connect, and feel supported—without pressure or judgment. This experience goes beyond a small discussion circle and may include multiple elements such as short educational segments, vendor tables, resource stations, and child-friendly activities, all designed to meet families where they are.
CMC is hosted as two separate in-person events in two different locations each August, creating space for broader community reach and local connection.
What to Expect
- A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere
- A one-hour core program focused on breastfeeding and infant feeding support
- Community resources and partner connections
- Optional vendor and resource tables (where available)
- Space for parents, babies, and families to feel seen and supported
Member Benefit
CMC is free for NBDA® members and may include paid vendor opportunities.
Come for the support. Stay for the community. Leave with resources you can use.
