LivingWorks ASIST™ -- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

LivingWorks ASIST ™ is a two-day face-to-face workshop that teaches skills to aid in the prevention of suicide.

A $50.00 deposit will be collected during Eventbrite registration. The deposit will be refunded to attendees on the first day of the Workshop. Registered individuals who do not attend the Workshop or cancel less than 14 days in advance will not receive a refund.

SUICIDE CAN BE PREVENTED: Everyone has a role to play. No matter what that role is, our training programs prepare individuals, organizations, and communities to make a difference.

LivingWorks ASIST™ is a two-day face-to-face workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. At a LivingWorks ASIST™ workshop, you'll learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive.

ASIST™ Trainers will guide you and support you through the course, ensuring your comfort and safety.

Participants must attend both days.

The Suicide Prevention Training Institute is pleased to announce a partnership with Gulfcoast North Area Health Education Center (AHEC). AHEC is a Florida Board of Dentistry, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling approved provider of continuing education. CE Broker provider ID # 50-839.

AHEC will provide continuing education units (CEU) to participants completing the ASIST Workshop at no cost to the participants.
