2026 Georgia & South Carolina Reproductive & Maternal Health Summit

2026 Georgia & South Carolina Reproductive & Maternal Health Summit

Location TBD
Overview

Join us for a powerful conversation about fertility and maternal health outcomes in the black community and laws that impact access to care.

The Cade Foundation’s Georgia and South Carolina Reproductive and Maternal Health Summits are community-centered education and advocacy initiatives designed to improve awareness of reproductive health, fertility care, maternal health, and access to quality health services. The summits bring together healthcare professionals, community organizations, advocates, families, students, and local leaders to share trusted information, identify barriers to care, and discuss practical strategies for improving health outcomes.

The Georgia AND South Carolina Summit will take place on September 8, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. (except the GA Southern Cluster event will be on September 12th from 10am to noon. This watch party will include attendees from throughout Hampton, Griffin, McDonough, and Locust Grove.)

Both the GA and SC events will include in person programming as well as statewide virtual programming. There will be separate and state specific programming for GA and SC events.

The programs are expected to reach approximately 2,500 +participants through the virtual audience and community gatherings. Featured speakers will discuss maternal health disparities, access to reproductive and fertility care, health-system policies, and resources available to underserved women and families.

These gatherings will connect participants to the statewide educational program while creating space for local discussion about the reproductive and maternal health needs of Georgia and South Carolina families.
