Opening Reception: Masako Kamiya "Vessels"

Join us for the opening reception of Masako Kamiya's solo exhibition "Vessels" on Saturday, March 7th, from 1–3 PM. Artist remarks at 2 pm.

Born and raised in Japan, Kamiya pursued her art training in the United States at the Massachusetts College of Art and the Montserrat College of Art, where she is now a Professor.

Located within the Church of the Covenant in Boston’s historic Back Bay neighborhood, Gallery NAGA (formerly Newbury Associated Guild of Artists) was founded in 1977, when a group of artists placed their work on display in what used to be the chapel of the church. One month led to the next, and before long, an impromptu gallery was born.
