Host Russ Colchamiro interviews Stoker Award-winning horror author + HWA President L. Marie Wood about her life and horror writing career.

Celebrated psychological horror author L. MARIE WOOD is the winner of multiple awards including the Bram Stoker Award®, the Golden Stake Award for Literature, and the International Impact Book Award. She is also a MICO Award-winning screenwriter, an Elgin Award finalist poet, an accomplished essayist, and a playwright. Wood is the President of the Horror Writers Association, the founder of the Speculative Fiction Academy, an English and Creative Writing professor, as well as a horror scholar. RUSS COLCHAMIRO is the award-winning author of the Sci-Fi thrillers Crackle and Fire, Fractured Lives, Hot Ash, Blunt Force Rising, and Trigger Point, the ongoing series featuring hardboiled private eye Angela Hardwicke. Russ is also the author of the rollicking time travel/space adventure, Crossline, the Y/A horror-themed espionage thriller Hyde and Seek, Fury of the White Mask, co-author and -editor of the noir anthology Murder in Montague Falls, and has contributed to various other anthologies.

A member of the Horror Writers Association, and the author collective Crazy 8 Press, Russ also hosts and produces his Russ’s Rockin’ Rollercoaster podcast, where he interviews best-selling and up-and-coming Sci-Fi, fantasy, crime, mystery, thriller, and horror authors.
