STOMPING GROUNDS 2026 - Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts

Overview

Experience the deep well of percussive arts and dance at the Logan Center for the Arts.

This performance showcases traditional and contemporary work of Chicago-based companies, including Ayodele Drum and Dance, Tsukasa Taiko, an encore by last year’s festival hit, Surabhi Ensemble, CHRP’s Stone Soup Rhythms, renowned guest artist, Cartier Williams, and ERA Footwork making their first Stomping Grounds appearance. The drum-heavy program displays the connection between percussive music and dance, featuring works that pay homage to ancient rituals of Spring and the hope that accompanies new beginnings.
