We’ll primarily work with Conscious Connected Breathing, an active breathing technique that gently activates the nervous system in a safe, intentional way. This controlled activation helps the body practice moving through stress rather than getting stuck in it, building resilience and flexibility within the nervous system.
By consciously breathing through moments of activation, we train the mind and body to stay present, grounded, and calm even when sensations or emotions arise. This is the same skill needed in real life—recognizing when we’ve moved out of balance and knowing how to guide ourselves back.
We’ll close the session with balanced breathing and 4-7-8 breathing, which support the parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) response and help the nervous system settle into a state of coherence, clarity, and ease.
This practice teaches you not only how to release stress, but how to regulate yourself back into harmony when life pulls you out of it.
