Yes, Safe Plates is an equivalent option to ServSafe. Safe Plates is a NC State University program and available locally by a trained Cooperative Extension Agent.

What does the fee include?

In-person training time, book, study guide, practice exams, and learning activities. The fee also pays for the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals exam and proctoring.
