The MCM features two signature relaxed tour options and a NEW 50+ mile route that’ll appeal to the faster, more adventurous crowd. The main two routes bring riders along Rochester’s ‘meandering’ trail system highlighting what makes the “Med City” a dynamic and vibrant community. The Rochester Rotary Ramble will take riders off the beaten path to the northeast area of Rochester for rolling hills and picturesque farmland scenery with a visit to Elgin Minnesota. From tree canopied riverside paths to gentle Driftless bluffs, each route features great rest stops all along the way!
#1 – The 15 mile loop visits the premier Peace Plaza Rest Stop and the heads back towards the after party finish at Little Thistle Brewing right off the trail!
#2 – The 25+ mile adds one additional rest stop at Silver Lake Firestation after Peace Plaza rejoining the 15 mile riders at Little Thistle Brewing at the finish.
#3 – The 50+ mile The Rochester Rotary Ramble starts and ends at the Silver Lake Fire Station rest stop with a rest stop in the Elgin area.
NEW CHECK-IN LOCATIONS: Check in for the new 50 miler Rotary Route is 7-8am at Silver Lake Fire Station. Standard routes are still at Cascade Lake Amphitheater 8-10am.
Thanks to our partnership with The Rotary Club of Rochester we’re expanding our route options by adding a 50 mile tour of the Northeast Rochester area that includes a cruise on the Great River Ridge State Trail and visits to the towns of Viola, Elgin, and Plainview! Don’t worry if 50 miles isn’t your idea of a good time we’re still offering the classic 15 and 25 mile Meanders!
Rest stops and SAG support services end at 2pm. Riders will enjoy food and drink at rest stops along the route. Join us at the Little Thistle After Party from 1pm-4pm!
Helmets are required: Protect your melon! Safe cycling to all Meander riders!
