Come to the Mitchell Street Library to learn about rain garden basics. The workshop will focus on how to design and build a rain garden, how to select plants, and how your rain garden can protect Lake Michigan. At the workshop, garden experts will be on hand to discuss design tips and assist you with creating your rain garden. You can also get a free rain garden plant kit for attending to be picked up in May or June. More information about the free rain garden plant kit will be given at the workshop. Please note that this workshop does NOT include a free rain barrel. This workshop will be presented in English.
