AOC Community Media is a next-generation community media center, rooted in the tradition of public access television.We provide tools, equipment, training, events, workshops, distribution channels, inspiration, and community-building activities to inspire and support local residents in creating their own media. We do this in traditional and emerging media, on cable channels and on YouTube & Facebook.We facilitate community dialogue through media expression, provide transparency in local government and train children and adults to create, express, challenge, document, narrate, tell stories, cover news, and explore media creation in all its forms.

Welcome to Teen Muse, an inspiring and interactive after-Program designed to ignite the creative flames within our community's youth!

AOC Teen MUSE

AOC Community Media's Teen MUSE program provides teens  throughout Lafayette Parish with access to FREE digital media training. Anyone ages 12-16 can participate in a wide variety of creative media arts activities led by AOC staff & visiting instructors.

This is a required class for teens wanting to volunteer for Festival International.About Teen MuseTeen Muse is a dynamic and free program crafted for teenagers who are eager to explore their artistic talents, express themselves, and connect with like-minded peers. Our mission is to provide a safe and encouraging space where creativity knows no bounds.Each Monday, anyone ages 12 - 16 can participate in a variety of creative media-based activities led by AOC staff and visiting instructors.
