Gain insight into the evolution of American architecture while experiencing the historical development of Sarasota and the buildings that make up its much-celebrated downtown. From the Sarasota County Courthouse (1927) to the former S.H. Kress & Company Store (1932) to Sarasota Memorial Hospital / former Sarasota Herald-Tribune Offices (2006), the iconic edifices of downtown showcase some 80 years of architectural history, design styles, and local stories.

10:00am-12:00pm

2-hour Guided Walking Tour with numerous stops

Departs and returns to the Pavilion, 265 S Orange Avenue

Two tour offerings this season:

Tickets:

Members: $50 (check-in 15 minutes prior to departure)

Not-Yet Members: $60 (check-in 15 minutes prior to departure)

• Wear comfortable shoes.

• Prepare to be in the sun (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat).

• Stay hydrated.

Architecture Sarasota is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Net proceeds from ticket sales help Architecture Sarasota meet its mission and goals.
