The Safer Buildings Coalition is a not for profit social welfare organization founded in 2012. Safer Buildings Coalition aims to ensure that First Responders (Fire, Law Enforcement and EMS) can use state-of-the-art voice and data communications to communicate with one another inside buildings as well as to and from their Command Centers outside buildings during an event. The shared vision among its members, which includes leading companies and organizations within the wireless and public safety industries, is to create safer buildings that possess advanced indoor public communications systems.

Public Transportation to the University of Utah Alumni House The Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House is located at 155 S. Central Campus Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84112<ul><li>Recommended – TRAX Red Line: From downtown Salt Lake City, take the UTA TRAX Red Line (Route 703) toward University Medical Center. Convenient downtown boarding locations include Courthouse Station, 450 S. Main Street, and Library Station, 225 E. 400 South. Exit at Fort Douglas Station, 200 S. Mario Capecchi Drive, then walk through campus to the Alumni House. The Red Line serves downtown and the University of Utah and generally operates every 15 minutes during peak periods.</li><li>Alternative – UTA Bus Route 2: Take Route 2 – 200 South eastbound toward University Hospital. The bus travels directly from downtown along 200 South; a convenient downtown stop is 200 South/Main Street. Exit at the University Presidents’ Circle area and walk a short distance to the Alumni House. On the weekday schedule, the trip from 200 S./Main to Presidents’ Circle is roughly 15 minutes during much of the day.</li><li>Coming directly from the airport: Take the Green Line from Salt Lake City International Airport to Courthouse Station, then transfer to the Red Line toward University Medical Center and exit at Fort Douglas.</li></ul>UTA fare: Regular local bus/TRAX fare is currently $2.50 one way, with the fare valid for transfers for two hours. A local day pass is $5.00. Tickets can be purchased at TRAX ticket machines or through the Transit app.It is recommended to use the Transit app/UTA trip planner on the day of travel for the closest departure from your hotel and any real-time service updates.
