Food as Medicine: Virtual Cook-A-Long Class with Anelise
Thai food is good! We're getting together online to prepare a delicious Thai dinner your family or friends will enjoy. And it's nutritious.
The Capitol Hill Counseling and Resource Center is excited to announce the 2026 popular "Food as Medicine" series, an interactive virtual cook-a-long class that connects health to food, led by acclaimed Functional Nutritionist and Holistic Health Coach, Anelise Antunes.
This is a COOK-A-LONG class so a shopping list will be emailed to all registrants before each class so registrants can cook with Anelise and have dinner ready to eat.
MONDAY, MARCH 16 @ 6 PM EST: AROMATIC RICE WITH THAI TOFU
We will be cooking with Tofu - again. Yes, our favorite ingredient is back! We will talk about and cook with a "health miracle" combination of turmeric + ginger. Our dinner plate will be colorful with vibrant, tasty, and medicinal ingredients that enhance immune function, relieve pain, decrease nausea, and more. Join us to cook along or take notes as we prepare Aromatic Rice with Thai Tofu.
Remember, this is a cook-along class so there are no printed step-by-step recipe instructions. Register by March 12 to receive a shopping list and general instructions on March 13. All meals are plant-based and non-alcoholic.
