Hike & Learn: Southern Vineyards
Discovering rural Vienna
Enjoy a trip through nature while improving your German. The unique Hike & Learn concept is suitable for levels A2/B1/B2 or above and includes mini-breaks for German conversation practice led by a native-speaking facilitator.
A feast for your eyes: Come explore these vineyards and corn fields, one of Vienna's most underrated areas. After conveniently meeting up at Vienna Main Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof), we'll first cross through a trendy neighbourhood, leaving urban Vienna and then walk up to a point from where you can see, weather permitting, as far as to the Lower Carpathians. After getting lost in the nearby vineyards, we then venture further downhill until reaching a tree-lined creek. Following the waves, we eventually reach a small village in Lower Austria province, from where a quick train ride will take us back to Vienna Main Station.
Underway we'll have fun with ice breakers, discussion prompts and local trivia.
