Beam up with To Proudly Go for the series premiere viewing party of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy on Saturday, January 17 at 6:00 PM at Industry Bar in NYC. The evening will feature special guest star and RuPaul’s Drag Race favorite Jackie Cox, alongside an incredible cast including Heather Wood, Godiva Romance, Princess Bitch, and Thatcher Black.
Guests are invited to trek out for a Trek-tastic drag show, enjoy 2-for-1 happy hour drinks, and take part in Star Trek Bingo—also known as Dabo!—plus interactive games, Trek-tacular prizes, giveaways, and exclusive merchandise available for purchase. Each week of the series is dedicated to supporting the Pop Culture Hero Coalition, celebrating the power of fandom while uplifting and empowering LGBTQIA+ communities.

About Jackie Cox
Jackie Cox is an acclaimed Iranian-Canadian drag performer, entertainer, and theatre artist based in New York City. Best known for competing on Season 12 of RuPaul’s Drag Race—where she finished in the Top 5—Jackie has built a vibrant career blending comedy, glamour, and pop-culture flair. She is celebrated for representing diverse identities onstage and for her creative cosplay, including Star Trek–inspired looks that resonate with trekkies and LGBTQ+ fans alike. Jackie also appears in the comic book Never Alone—a project by Pop Culture Hero Coalition designed to support and empower LGBTQIA+ youth by featuring familiar drag icons as mentoring heroes.

Founded in 2013, Pop Culture Hero Coalition (PCHC) provides mental health and social emotional learning programs for children, teens, and adults. They work to end oppression in all its forms, including bullying, racism, misogyny, LGBTQIA+ bullying, and cyber bullying. Star Trek Dabo!
Join us for Dabo! (aka Bingo) We sell 1 bingo board for $2 and 3 bingo boards for $5. We accept cash and credit cards ($5 minimum for credit cards). The winner of bingo will receive the bingo pot of cash!
Drag Show and Trivia
We start the main show at approximately 7pm with drag performances and Star Trek trivia but arrive early if you don't want to miss out! The top 3 trivia winners each receive 1 drink ticket, redeemable at the bar.
Video Break
At around 7:30pm we will view the current episode of Star Trek Starfleet Academy, but the show will resume immediately after so sick around!
