Contra Costa Con 2026 Star Wars & Star Trek Celebration is Sunday, April 19, at the Hilton Concord Hotel in Concord featuring two dozen actors and creative talents from the Star Wars and Star Trek families.

This 4th annual Contra Costa Con Star Wars & Star Trek Celebration is open from 10am to 4pm with free parking at the Hilton. Kids 9 and under are free.

We will be celebrating 6 special anniversaries this year:

  • Star Trek Original TV series debuted 1966
  • Star Trek: The Voyage Home 1986
  • Star Trek: First Contact 1996
  • Star Trek Beyond 2016
  • Star Trek: Starfleet Academy TV series debuts 2026
  • Rogue One: A Star Wars Story 2016

Two dozen Star Trek & Star Wars personalities will be on hand at Contra Costa Con to meet their fans and present 4 Panels (additional charge) including (partial list subject to change):

  • Robin Curtis (Lt. Saavik) in Star Trek III & IV and 765874 Unification; Star Trek Next Generation
  • Nicole de Boer (Ezri Dax) in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Her numerous TV credits include The Dead Zone, The Kids in the Hall and The Outer Limits. She was in the critically acclaimed sci-fi/horror film, Cube
  • Vic Mignogna Creator, director & actor (Captain James T. Kirk) in Star Trek Continues with over 20 million views; 0ver 400 voice actor credits in animation and anime
  • Hallie Todd (Lal) in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode -The Offspring, regarded as one of the best episodes of the series. Best known as Jo McGuire on Disney's hit series Lizzie McGuire and The Lizzie McGuire Movie, for which she was named one of the Top 10 TV Moms of All Time by CNN Entertainment
  • C. Andrew Nelson has portrayed Darth Vader since 1994 in commercials, TV shows, print, games and live appearances. At LucasArts helped create and design popular games Dark Forces, Rebel Assault II, Full Throttle, The Dig, Jedi Knight, Curse of Monkey Island, Shadows of the Empire, Rogue Squadron and Indiana Jones & the Infernal Machine
  • Kirk Thatcher Emmy Award-winning writer/producer known for his work on several Muppet TV shows and films. Creature maker and puppeteer for Industrial Light and Magic starting with Return of the Jedi. Worked on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
  • Chris Doohan [Appearing afternoon only on April 19] (Scotty) in Star Trek Continues; son of the legendary original Scotty, James Doohan. Also appeared in Star Trek: the motion picture, Star Trek 2009 and Star Trek Into Darkness.
  • Thaine Morris, Pyrotechnics and visual effects legend (Star Wars Episodes I, V & VI, Star Trek II, ET, Die Hard, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Starship Troopers, Alien, Judge Dredd, Ghostbusters, Poltergeist, Dragonslayer and many more)
  • Kevin Thompson (Ewok Chubbray) in Return of the Jedi, also in Blade Runner, The Ewok Adventure

The 4 Panels will feature actors, Lucasfilm and Industrial Light and Magic wizards and talents behind Star Wars and Star Trek.

Star Wars costuming groups Rebel Legion Endor Base, Mandalorian Mercs and 501st Golden Gate Garrison along with R2-D2 will be on hand all day for their fans.

We are also presenting Contra Costa Halloween Con on Sunday, Oct. 25 in the Hilton Concord.

Our first dozen Contra Costa Cons have been smash hits. Toys, collectibles, artwork, comics, anime, art, apparel, games, LEGO and much more will be featured at the family-friendly show hosted by Bay Area Festivals and American Brick Builders.

The free, family-friendly STAR TREK and STAR WARS Cosplay Costume Contest for attendees will feature cash and merchandise prizes for creative Star Wars and Star Trek characters in different age groups. Contest registration will be taken during the day with contest judging at 3 o'clock. Only Star Wars and Star Trek-themed costumes will be eligible for prizes.

New items and collectibles from Disney, Transformers, Funko Pop, Star Wars, LEGO, Pokémon, G.I. Joe, Marvel, DC, Dragon Ball Z, My Hero Academia, Hot Wheels and much more will be available by the wide variety of exhibitors at the show. Posters, art, prints, t-shirts, hats, apparel, anime, sports cards, books, comics, Legos, buttons, pins, classic video games, jewelry and cards are featured too.

Kids 9 and under are free.

VIP Ticket which includes admission to the show as well as access to all panels at Contra Costa Con is $29 with a free $2 Shopping Buck included in the price.

Admission tickets to Contra Costa Con are $12 and include a $2 Shopping Buck with each advance purchase ticket online.

All advance online sales, which include the free $2 Shopping Buck, end at 9am April 19.

Online sales continue until the end of Contra Costa Con.

Door sales of all our packages begin at 9:45am at the Hilton on April 19 at 1970 Diamond Blvd, 3 blocks off Interstate 680 in Concord.

Vic Mignogna is an actor, filmmaker and composer with a career spanning more than 35 years. He is best known to Star Trek fans as the creator, executive producer and star (Captain James T. Kirk) of the award-winning web series Star Trek Continues, which completed the original five-year mission and has earned nearly 20 million views worldwide. In addition to his work on Star Trek Continues, Vic has an extensive and successful voice-acting career with over 400 credits in animation and anime, including roles in Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist (American Anime Award for Best Actor), Naruto and Bleach.

He also works as a writer, director and professional music composer.

Chris Doohan was Scotty in Star Wars Continues (reprising the role of Starship Enterprise chief engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott made famous by his father James Doohan in the TV and film Star Trek series).

He was a Transport Officer in 2013 film Star Trek Into Darkness. Chris and his twin brother Montgomery had uncredited appearances as background extras in the first franchise movie Star Trek:The Motion Picture.

Kevin Thompson (Ewok Chubbray) Return of the Jedi, (Bear) in Blade Runner and (Chukha-Trok) in TV films Caravan of Courage and Battle for Endor. He is joined by his wife Tracey Thompson a TV actress with credits including The Neighbors and Raising Hope. Dancer in Austin Powers in Goldmember and author of My Journey to Endor

Bill Kimberlin - Editor, VFX editor, director of photography, director and producer. Career at Industrial Light and Magic spans over 20 years on some of the most iconic VFX in films ever made, including the famous SB19 shot of the climactic battle in Return of the Jedi. Author of Inside the Star Wars Empire.

Howie Weed - ILM VFX artist and modelmaker. Appeared as the Wampa (The Empire Strikes Back – Special Edition). Credits span multiple Star Wars and Star Trek films

Lauren Vogt (ILM fabricator puppeteer, and VFX makeup artist) Film work includes the Star Wars prequels, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and Howard the Duck
