MARCH 6 | I Confess (1953)

Starring: Montgomery Clift, Anne Baxter

Guilt, secrecy, and moral suspense under pressure.Set against the stark beauty of Quebec City, I Confess is one of Hitchcock’s most restrained and psychologically complex films. A priest bound by the seal of confession becomes the prime suspect in a murder, forcing Hitchcock to explore faith, desire, and the unbearable weight of silence in a world hungry for answers.
