Glengarry Glen Ross

Overview
David Mamet’s Pulitzer-prize winning, darkly funny tragedy bursts at the seams with wild language and wrestles with sticky themes — shriveling toxic masculinity, morality among thieves, the capitalist fetishization of domination and exploitation as fundamental economic practice — and unravels a swindle peddled by swindlers who are themselves getting constantly swindled. The American Dream of land ownership these desperate men are selling has no value, but the men have no value if they’re not selling the paper-thin dream with every ounce of their blackened hearts.
Sean Mewshaw (True West, Constellations, A Case for the Existence of God) directs an immersive '80s-throwback production of this poisonously foundational text of American stage and cinema.
Running time 97 mins.
Starring M. Delamater, R. Cameron, S. Clarke, B. Askari, E. Van Wyck, C. Shepard, M. Myer
“A searing indictment of all sorts of American dreams, GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS is a welcome if foul-mouthed reminder of just what it takes for a lot of folk to make it through the working day.” – Empire
“Mamet’s dialogue has a kind of logic, a cadence, that allows people to arrive in triumph at the ends of sentences we could not possibly have imagined.” – Roger Ebert
