Bram en zijn kompanen trekken naar De Club in Mechelen voor een melancholische blend van pop, rock & indie.

De Club

RUBUS is het geesteskind van Antwerps singer-songwriter Bram Van Hecke. Zijn liefde voor oude en nieuwe popmuziek wordt vertaald naar een eigen melancholische sound die geïnspireerd is door artiesten als Admiral Freebee, Novastar en Milow. Na jaren van solitair broeden in zijn slaapkamer, kwam in 2020 debuut-EP Sit Down &amp; Rewind uit. Radio 2 en Radio Willy sprongen gelijk mee op de kar en een uitverkochte Vooruit in boechout vormde het decor voor een glorieus release-optreden. Op podia zoals die van Maanrock en lier Centraal maakte Rubus indruk en de aanloop naar een knallend debuutalbum leek ingezet. Wanneer dat album er echter komt, blijft voer voor speculatie.
