What if I'm not a "numbers person"?

Accepted Answer

Accounting is about rules more than it is about numbers.  If you can operate a basic calculator, if you understand the game of solitaire, you can learn all you need to know about accounting.

What should I bring with me?

Accepted Answer

It would be great if you could have your balance sheet and income statement with you when you attend, but that is not necessary.  Just plan to take a lot of notes and be in a place where you're not multi-tasking.

What if I don't know what a Balance Sheet or Income Statement is?

We will cover the basics before we head into the deeper topics.  It's not nearly as complicated as you might be thinking.
